NEMECYS participated in the HIMSS Global Health Conference and Exhibition (10–12 June 2025), one of the leading international events for digital health and healthcare innovation, which brought together more than 2,000 participants from across the sector.
The project was represented by Martin Jaatun (SINTEF Digital) and Christos Androutsos (University of Ioannina), who actively engaged with stakeholders including business developers, IT directors, healthcare research directors, IT engineers, and EU policy advisors.
NEMECYS was showcased alongside four sibling projects working on cybersecurity for healthcare at a dedicated exhibition booth. In addition, it was presented in a dedicated session within the official HIMSS programme, offering the opportunity to highlight the project’s objectives, tools, and case studies to a broader audience.
During discussions with stakeholders, special attention was given to the MDCG 2019-16 guideline and the recommendations that NEMECYS has proposed to the MDCG New Technologies Working Group (NTWG). The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, gather targeted feedback from decision-makers and technical experts, and strengthen collaboration across healthcare, medical device, and policy communities.
